Parent’s meeting There will be a special parent meeting on Monday, January 30th at 7:00 pm at the cabin. We will address the new troop finance & fundraising policy going into effect next year. All parents are encouraged to attend.
Parent volunteers are what help support this troop and create a solid foundation for your son’s scouting experience. We are always in need of merit badge counselors, fundraiser support and troop event volunteers. No experience is necessary. Come to a weekly scout meeting, meet our adult volunteers, and see what you can do to help.
Mulch Sales will begin soon. Please look for order forms being sent home with your scout at an upcoming meeting. This is one of our biggest troop fundraisers, so make sure all your friends, relatives and neighbors help support our troop. This year Your Scout can earn 75% of net proceeds from his sales!
Upcoming Events & Activities:
January 27-29th: Elk Mountain ski trip. E-mail information to follow.
January 30th: Parents meeting 7:00 pm at the cabin
February 1st: Greenbar meeting 7:00 pm at the cabin.
February 17-19th: Weblos Weekend. 8:00 pm Parent’s Meeting at the cabin.
February 20th: No Scout Meeting.
February 21st: Committee Meeting 7:00 pm at the Cabin.
February 25th: Merit Badge College. This is a continuation for those that attended the Merit Badge College in January.
February 27th: Court of Honor 7:00 pm at Avondale Firehouse. All Parents & Scouts are encouraged to come to support the troop’s honors.
March 30th: Spring Cabin Cleanup. All Parents & Scouts are encouraged to come help with various projects to spruce up our cabin & surroundings.
April 13-14th: Mulch delivery. Scouts & Parents help load & deliver mulch orders.
April 28th: Goddard Park Dedication. Scouts have been invited to participate in the dedication by London Grove Township. Scouts have been asked to help throughout the day.
